Shipping Information |
We ship regionally to the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
We ship quasi-bareroot, landscape-ready perennials. During the packaging process, blooms and some soil are removed. Leaves and roots will be trimmed as well. We ship on a first-come-first-serve basis, in the least number of boxes, and use USPS 2- and 3-day Priority Mail to reduce plant stress. Priority Mail coupled with the resilience of native plants allows us to ship right through the hot summer months. Please note your order may be delayed if a plant is late to break dormancy, a crop is close but not quite mature or there are 1,000 other orders in front of yours (spring). If one or two plants are significantly delayed when the balance of your order is ready to go, we will generate a refund. If you would like us to make a substitution, please type a detailed note at checkout. We do not have the ability to communicate with your USPS carrier other than the shipping address provided during checkout. Please speak with your carrier directly if you require a specific area for delivery. Important Note: Native plants are extremely resilient and handle the transition well. However, to avoid additional stress, we limit the number of plants per box to nine. Orders with more than nine plants require additional boxes, which causes our shipping cost to jump. We could offer "free" shipping but then our plant prices would have to go up and our North Carolina customers would be supplementing the cost of those shipments to Wisconsin (we love you, Wisconsin!). We recommend ordering 9 plants or in multiples of 9 to receive the biggest bang for your shipping buck. And, as landscapers, we always recommend planting in odd-numbered groups. Happy Gardening!! |
